With a new battery and improved thermals I also wanted to upgrade to Monterey and also switch the internal SSD for a bigger one but scrolling through numerous threads and articles led me a bit undecided.ġ. So now it is currently at Apple for a battery replacement. So I decided to give it some love and renewed the thermal paste which revealed a slightly swollen battery.
I have a 15" Macbook Pro from 2015 which has been working amazingly reliable for the past couple of years and still is in great shape.
